Rock Candy

Philip R. Klein finds a cloud in every silver lining:

So we have sat back and watched this week the big news of the big find of gas and oil out at the Muni airport in Beaumont. The take? Anywhere from $20 million to $40 million depending on the price of gas on the open market.

By any terms - it is a big find. And a good thing for the taxpayers of Beaumont.

Or is it?

The rest of the article is more of the "same old think, over and over and over again:"

And folks - we are getting very very close to the bottom falling out. Families are continuing to leave this area. Businesses are failing. And government spending is not slowing down.

Does anyone have questions on why Philip has 43 readers a day? Keep moving, folks, there is nothing of interest here.

I read your site as well as your competitors site. I notice that when you talk about him, he simply looses it and calls you a liar. I used to think he might know something i don't. But not now. It is very personal for this guy. Keep up the good work sir!

Why doesn't PRK join the flight from "dying cities" and "Texas' most corrupt county" before his own
company fails? Oh, I forgot: he can again claim bankruptcy and leave his creditors holding the bag.

Phil brags his website was "hit" 3.3 million times last year, or an average 9,000 times a day. But Gus' pal Sam the Eagle reports that Website Outlook says it's more like 127 per day. That loud "Pssst" sound you hear is Gas Bag Klein deflating.
