The Southeast Texas Political Review has learned from a City of Beaumont source and an internal source at the BISD - that the new Carroll Thomas stadium may have serious structural problems and may be sinking into the ground. In a posting on the SETPR today, Philip R. Klein's martyr complex is obvious:
Stop laughing - it is serious and we are too.
"There are some problems. I am not a liberty to discuss them - especially with you and your rag," said a source at the BISD.
So we went to our go to person - and they told us : "They don't want to talk about it right now. TAKS tests grades are out and that is the talk," the source told us.
So we then called the City of Beaumont and our source inside told us : "Yep - they have a problem. We are not sure how serious it is right now but engineers are looking at it. We may have to have them dismantle part of the stadium or attempt to do a fix. It is way too early to tell," the source told us.
As the media rides the bus this afternoon and you get ready for your how great things are in BISD - the dirty secret got leaked to the Beaumont Enterprise and then to the media in general with the excuse that...well...there were no problems with Thomas Stadium.Philip has misrepresented the facts: no one claimed that he lied concerning this particular story. In the case of Operation Kleinwatch, I did not comment because I couldn't conclusively prove Klein lied.
Nothing was wrong. The Southeast Texas Political Review lies. Nothing wrong at all. All is good. Look media - all is good.
But wait? Didn't the Review report that over 10 days ago?
Oh...well.....we didn't know it was sinking! We just thought it was....you know....Klein.
Verify this by examining my articles on June 2, 2010, and June 3, 2010. Klein's postings can't be verified because he purges his "top stories" on a weekly basis to avoid accountability for statements such as this. Here's an example of why no one takes PRK seriously.
Likewise, I suspect the local media chose not to mention this story until it could be verified by independent sources less biased than Philip R. Klein. This is called ethical reporting. James Ware with KBTV Fox Channel 4 mentioned Philip by name; Philip is so rarely right that it makes headline news.
While the Beaumont Enterprise and the rest of the media is reporting a potential cost of $1.1 million to correct the problem, Philip makes this prediction (emphasis is mine):
Ah yes.....folks.....we said a total of 2.5 million. And that as our source said is a drop in the bucket.Disregarding PRK's racism and mangled grammar, we'll revisit this prediction of $2.5 million. I already know he's lying about "Ford Park...sinking into the ground!"
So where do you taxpayers go in Beaumont. Into your wallets. Get em out. It is for the "children's" - you know.....for the "children's" of Beaumont so they can be proud....as they sinking into the ground.
What is it about that area and taxpayer dollars? Ford Park and Thomas Stadium sinking into the ground! What a hoot.....or sad.....depending on how you look at it.

Since Trog spilled the beans, nothing is sinking faster than Fillup's credibility. In case you missed it:
