Philip R. Klein posted two huge images of graffiti on Pleasure Island that take forever to download:

The talk is this weekend it will be family fun time in Port Arthur with a bunch of visitors to the biggest hunk of pork you have ever seen - called Port Arthur Texas. And families will come with their friends riding Motorcycles and when the kiddos go play on the playground at the park - well what they will see is simply a bunch of "Tags" all over Pleasure Island.

Does that say MS? Isn't that a gang.....oh well....those bikers don't care now do they. And we are sure those nice families won't mind either?

So in the last 10 years your tax dollars to the tune of over 20 million dollars - well.....this is how it is treated and get this - how the citizens of Port Arthur not only treat the island but maintain it. Another proud point in Port Arthur Texas.

These extreme close-ups lacked perspective like Philip's myopic opinions.

The red circle marks the spot where I caught an 8 lb. flounder in 2001. I dislike rhetoric from carpetbaggers who make their living in Southeast Texas, but only denigrate Jefferson County.  

While Klein previously complained about 2,000 bikers in Port Arthur, he missed this item in the Beaumont Enterprise:

Thousands of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and an estimated $2.9 million will be riding into Beaumont next May.

The Texas State Harley Owners Group (HOG) selected Beaumont as the site for the 2011 State Rally, which will be held at Ford Park and other locations around Southeast Texas, the Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau announced Tuesday afternoon.

More than 5,000 people, most with motorcycles, are expected to attend.
