Traffic Report

In Philip R. Klein's Nitwit Tidbits on the Southeast Texas Political Review, he wrote (emphasis is mine):
A Huge Thank You - We have just reviewed the numbers for August of 2010. It was THE BIGGEST month in the 17 year history of the Southeast Texas Political Review. To date, we have seen just over 374,000 direct hits into our default page (Front Page) and 1.6 million page views. Average hitters are viewing four pages now. There is an alternative message to the media / democratic line - and we are it. And people are reading. Thanks.
In a November 11, 2009, interview with Mike McNeil on KBTV Channel 4, Philip claimed:
Today, in 19, I mean in 2009, uh, we have, uh, direct entry hits of about 395,000. As of today, and 2.3 million uh web page views. So that means some people use us as their browser and when they turn their computer on in the morning, they come right to us. But we've had about 2.3 million hits this year, web views.
Philip claims to have set a 17-year record of 374,000 direct hits last month, even though he told Mike McNeil last year that he usually gets direct hits of 395,000.

Here's what the rest of the world says about traffic to the Southeast Texas Political Review:
