Klein's Crude Language Omitted

Philip R. Klein made a number of charges against Jefferson County and the Beaumont Police Department in his latest posting on the Southeast Texas Political Review:
1) Obvious misdealing with the finances of Jefferson County Texas. Too obvious.
Klein has made similar accusations in the past, including a charge that County Auditor Patrick Swain committed a felony by falsifying records.  This is not protected speech and constitutes defamation.

Show me the real evidence, please. Klein's unsubstantiated histrionics don't count.
2) The beating of a two men pulled over in the North End. One officer is convicted - another is pending trial next week and will all certainty will be convicted also.
Philip always supports the cops, except when his personal agenda gets in the way.
3) The announcement that a special prosecutor will ask for an indictment on two well known police officers whose parents are well connected in the community.
Klein denigrated the entire Beaumont Police Department later in the article.
But these two guys are and example of what many in many parts of the city have begun to complain about. The absolute "Hitler" mentality being that you are guilty until proven innocent.
Klein always supports the cops, except when's calling them Nazis. In this case, Klein is guilty of the very thing he's complaining about: he's already tried and convicted these two officers, despite the suspects own guilty plea. From the Beaumont Enterprise:
The allegations against the officers arose from a case heard in Judge Larry Gist's drug impact court in May. A Beaumont man, 32-year-old Bryan Sostand, was indicted in October 2008 for possession of a controlled substance. Based on statements made by Beaulieu and Heilman, the arresting officers, and testimony from Beaulieu, Sostand pled guilty and was sentenced to seven years in prison. Later Morrison located a witness to the incident and filed a motion for a new trial, on the grounds that the witness would testify the officers falsified and left details out of their reports.
I wonder why Stella Morrison let her client plead guilty, if Sostand was truly innocent? Any comments, Philip?

Bottom line: Philip has never explained why the families of these officers are relevant. If so, then perhaps Klein should also mention Lisa Beaulieu, who gave her life in the line of duty.

And if the families are indeed relevant, then perhaps a drug bust inside the Klein family is relevant as well.

4) The obvious signs at the Port Arthur Economic Development Commission where money cannot be accounted for and the absolute misuse of company funding.
See Item 1. Show me the evidence, please.
5) The announcement that the ATF is looking to the First Baptist Church Fire in Kountze Texas - whereas two members of the Southeast Texas Regional Planning Commission are suspects in starting the fire trying to burn up documents that could be traced to federal money being misspent or taken personally by one Jefferson County Elected official  and one Hardin County Official.
I've seen no such announcement from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms as of Monday, Oct. 11, 2010 from the ATF concerning this fire which took place in 2008.

Show me the evidence, please, and Klein's anonymous sources don't count.   To be revisited, I'm sure.
6) Cops pull over a BISD official for DUI and he walks by not one - but two police agencies?
Klein failed to mention that two officers were suspended without pay and the BISD official resigned. Klein always supports the cops, except when his personal agenda gets in the way.
7) A lawyer making a speech gets arrested during the public speaking portion of a board meeting? CAN YOU SAY CIVIL RIGHTS? We wonder if he was black what everyone would say. Yes - we said it.
Philip's racism is evident. Notice Klein's racial profiling from his article yesterday, which is obvious despite the rest of the gibberish in his statement:
Looking at the numbers - if Port Arthur Citizens and the South-end of Beaumont stay home - or only come out at 10% - Jefferson County will elected two republicans for a county wide race - for the first tie in the history of Jefferson County.
Since the demographics in Port Arthur and Beaumont's south end are predominantly African-American, Klein's racial bias is obvious.

As one reads Klein's juvenile posting, the real reason for this attack becomes obvious:
Want more - well here is a portion of another friendly Beaumont Police Officer with two of our employees of our sister company. Threatening the employees with arrest - until he is challenged and then cannot come up with a charge.
Despite Klein's blatant lie that the officer "cannot come up with a charge," the officer very clearly says that a trespassing complaint was lodged, and that the person who made the complaint has a witness. See for yourself:

This complaint sounds quite familiar, doesn't it?

Tell fat filup that there are over 250 other counties in Texas so find another to live in. I wish they would have thrown that smart-ass kid in jail.

There are some really good private investigators in Southeast Texas. Philip Klein isn't one of them.

Philip uses crude language? Who would have thought?

I have challenged Philip the idiot openly several times to show us the evidence of Patrick Swain falsifying records. He refuses to show any at all. All he wanted was to debate. There is no debate. Either he has evidence or he does not. The man is a liar and I look forward to the day when Patrick Swain has enough and sues his sorry ass.

Too bad the cops didn't pull that kid out of the car and spank him.

The real story is that Klein's been pissed off at the SETRPC for years because they wouldn't give him money for his Gadfly Foundation charity.
