Nitwit Tidbits™

Not much of interest here.
Popular - Sources tell us at FOX4 that our segment is so popular every Wednesday that people are tuning in at the Jefferson County Court House on the new cable system put in for TV. Huh?
The gap in Klein's credibility is obvious: few employees are working at the Jefferson County Courthouse that early in the morning.
Popular 2 - We hear that we are so popular that some politicos are so mad that they are going to demand a boycott of FOX4. Uh....they are watching? Right? Makes no sense other than a bunch of mean bad ugly democrats. Okay - that was overboard. Just p[**]d.
Not to mention the "mean bad ugly" Republicans that Philip has libeled in the past.   For the record, Philip's segments on Channel 4 are the best comedy series on TV since Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In. Watch out, Philip, here comes the judge!
Tim Kelley - The Guru of the Beaumont Enterprise - doesn't even live in Beaumont or Jefferson County? Do what? Too funny!
Klein doesn't live in Cabo either, but he's managed to scam a number of free trips with his hunt for Patrick McDermott. By the way, Klein's investigation is officially closed with no conclusive evidence that McDermott is indeed alive. Watch for the book!
Numbers - Lot's of people asking the Review what the numbers will come out to be. Here is how we see it. Senate - 52 democrats the rest is the rest, 63 seats to the GOP for house control. Six GOP governor wins with California on the edge. Boxer will win in the Senate in California.
Anyone who asks Mr. 37-Point-5 percent in earnest for race predictions deserves to have their voter registration card revoked. More probably, Philip just made it up.

Charlie Cook with the National Journal
offers a more realistic forecast:
At this juncture, I am still sticking with a 1994-level outlook: Eight Senate and 52 House seats are the over and under, with a 50 percent chance that Republican gains will be higher and a 50 percent chance that they will be lower. House gains in the 60s, 70s, or even 80s seem unlikely, as do Senate gains of 11 or 12, which would require the GOP to capture or hold 100 percent of the 18 or so Senate seats that could change hands. .
To be revisited.
Turn Out -  Very low for the Democrats this past Thursday night. What used to draw thousands drew less than 60. Not good.
Typically, Philip drops an arcane reference without explanation in an effort to bolster his flagging credibility.  As such, it's gibberish.
Picking - No we are not picking on KFDM nor the Beaulieu's. One is running for office and is in politics. One is the head of what they say is the number one TV station. And one is a cop that is looking at time. They are all three stories. Our take? TOUGHER SKIN! The more you whine the more everyone jumps on you.
I'm waiting on an Klein's update regarding the FCC investigation of Larry Beaulieu. The only person whining is Philip Klein. And what about that purported announcement from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms that the Southeast Texas Regional Planning Commission burned the First Baptist Church of Kountze to cover up fraud?
This Just In - Nothing - making fun of the media in Jefferson County.
Gibberish.
Crazy Talk - Gator has gone crazy? Tax on Soda? Too funny!
More gibberish, but I'll note that Klein is still crazy after all these years.

Gus, You are unaware of the impact that Phil's 5-minute rant on KBTV is causing to productivity here in the Courthouse. Everything stops on Wednesday while he is yakking: phones go answered, long lines form at the counters, and we never catch up. Instead of taking care of official business, my employees are rolling on the floor, laughing. Some even wet their pants and have to go home and change clothes. Putting in the cable system was a lousy idea.

Anyone know how the California stalking case against Klein turned out?

If the Texas Atty. General's office ever tunes in to FOX4 on Wednesday mornings, they'll be so astounded at the corruption in Jefferson County a cadre' of attorneys will descend upon us and paralyze the entire county with many, likely, facing jail time.

Anon 10:45: It's more likely that some muscular guys in white suits will grab a certain commentator while he is raving, strap him in a straightjacket and haul him off for much needed therapy.

Sounds like more of Klein's bullshit to me, since there ain't no such thing as "tortuous interference."

Isn't tortuous interference like "summery judgment?"

Phillip is cranking his own "hot tube" again.
